My Story
Welcome — I’m really glad you’re here.
The Purposeful Homemaker is a space for women who want to care for their homes thoughtfully — without pressure, perfection, or doing everything the hard way.
Here you’ll find fresh milled baking, practical homemaking skills, and simple, realistic rhythms for daily life — all centered on purpose, stewardship, and doing what makes sense for your home.
Why This Space Exists
Homemaking can feel overwhelming.
There’s a lot of noise telling us we should do more, buy more, and keep up — even when it comes to cooking, baking, and caring for our homes. I wanted something quieter than that.
This space exists to focus on:
- Learning real, useful skills
- Taking things one step at a time
- Caring well for what we’ve been given
- Letting go of the idea that homemaking has to look a certain way
Purposeful doesn’t mean perfect. It means intentional.

The Heart Behind The Purposeful Homemaker
I believe a well-cared-for home doesn’t have to be complicated.
Sometimes it looks like learning a new skill.
Sometimes it looks like simplifying.
Sometimes it’s just doing the next right thing for today.
My hope is that this space encourages you to slow down, build confidence in your homemaking, and care for your home — and the people in it — with purpose.
